Ryan Grant Out for the Season; Shiancoe and Ponder Sign Tenders

HB Ryan Grant Out for the Season: Yesterday’s Bergen Record reports that HB Ryan Grant will miss the 2006 NFL season due an off-the-field accident that caused cuts to one of his hands and wrists. Grant was placed on the Reserve/Non-Football Injury List early in May due to the injury. The Record says he will remain on that reserve list for the entire season.

Shiancoe and Ponder Did Sign Their Tenders: The Bergen Record is reporting that restricted free agents TE Visanthe Shiancoe and WR Willie Ponder did sign their respective 1-year, $721,600 tenders.
