New York Giants Interested in LB Ahmad Brooks?: ESPN.com is reporting that the New York Giants are one of three teams showing the most interest in ex-University of Virginia LB Ahmad Brooks in the upcoming Supplemental Draft, which will be held tomorrow. The Dolphins and 49ers are the other two teams said to be most interested.

Brooks was dismissed from his college team for unspecified reasons in March 2005 and thus missed his entire senior season despite being regarded as one of the nation’s best linebackers as a freshman and sophomore. He missed half of Virginia’s games his junior season with a knee injury. Off-the-field character concerns include past drug use.
