Giants and Jets Unveil New Stadium Design Today: The Giants and Jets will unveil the design of the new $1.3 billion stadium today.

“It looks a lot different from Giants Stadium,” said the president of the New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority. “It’s a modern design, and it has all the amenities a new stadium would have.”

“This undoubtedly will be the finest football facility in the United States,” said the chairman of the Sports Authority. “A lot of attention understandably will be drawn to the exterior, but the interior space planning is a huge upgrade as well.”

Quotes: LB Antonio Pierce on the belief by many that the Dallas Cowboys are the team to beat in the NFC East: “Why are they better than us? My answer is us. We were on top of this division the last two years, we lost it at the end of the season last year. But it’s OK, we want it that way. We’ll finish last. It probably will be Dallas, Philly and Washington all tied for first place. We’ll probably be 0-16 hoping we get, who is the No. 1 pick next year?”
