Pierce, Wilson, Butler, and Burress Miss Practice Again

Injury Update:  Not practicing again yesterday were LB Antonio Pierce (ankle), S Gibril Wilson (knee), S James Butler (hamstring), and WR Plaxico Burress (ankle/knee).

"Hopefully, if I feel better, I will play (against the Eagles)," said Pierce. "If not, I am not going to go out there and embarrass myself or hurt the team."

"I expect that Butler will make the game," said Head Coach Tom Coughlin.

HB Brandon Jacobs (hamstring) and CB Aaron Ross (hamstring) were limited in practice once again.

When asked how Jacobs was doing, Coughlin responded, "Good.  He is making progress, good progress."

"I’m feeling better and better every day," said Jacobs. "I had a chance to get out and go a little faster today than I went yesterday. I felt good with what I did."

WR Steve Smith (hamstring) fully practiced again.  "He is practicing, getting better, working better, doing more every day,  more reps, running more routes, running them consistently."
