Injury Update: Not practicing yesterday were OC Shaun O’Hara (knee), CB Sam Madison (abdomen), LB Kawika Mitchell (knee), and DE Dave Tollefson (concussion).
Regarding O’Hara, Madison, and Mitchell, Head Coach Tom Coughlin said, "Each one of them is making progress. They are not going to work today (on Wednesday). But I’m encouraged. We’ll have to see."
WR Plaxico Burress (ankle) and CB Kevin Dockery (hip flexor) were limited in practice.
"(Burress) is going to do some things but he is not going to do much," said Coughlin before yesteday’s practice. "He is doing all of the jog through and all of that stuff, but at this point in time the word from the medical people is to just – he won’t practice."
Practicing fully were HB Ahmad Bradshaw (calf) and WR Sinorice Moss (back).
Giants Add Cornerback to Practice Squad: The Giants have signed CB Chad Johnson to the Practice Squad. Johnson was signed as an undrafted rookie free agent by the Minnesota Vikings after the 2007 NFL Draft. The Vikings released Johnson before the season started in early September and then signed him to the Practice Squad. The Vikings released him from their Practice Squad in late October.
Because of this move, we have updated the Roster section of the website.
