QB David Carr Dines with Giants: According to The Star-Ledger’s Giants blog, unrestricted free agent QB David Carr dined with Giants’ officials last night, including possibly General Manager Jerry Reese, Offensive Coordinator Kevin Gilbride, and Quarterbacks Coach Chris Palmer.
The Ledger says Head Coach Tom Coughlin did not go to dinner with Carr, but Coughlin is expected to meet with him today.
LB Danny Clark is Visiting Giants: According to The New York Post, unrestricted free agent LB Danny Clark (Houston Texans) is visiting the Giants. The paper says he spent time with team officials yesterday and will continue to do so today. In eight NFL seasons, Clark has played with four teams including the Jaguars (2000-2003), Raiders (2004-2005), Saints (2006), and Texans (2007). He has started 66 regular season games.
