Saints Still Interested in Shockey?:  According to Sunday’s Times-Picayune (New Orleans), "league sources" say the Saints are still interested in trading for TE Jeremy Shockey.  The paper reports a trade could be finalized in the coming weeks.

Newspaper and internet reports had reported earlier that Shockey would be traded before or during the 2008 NFL Draft.  However, supposedly the Saints never offered what the Giants considered a fair deal for Shockey.
