Players from that team in attendance included Lawrence Taylor, Mark Bavaro, Harry Carson, George Martin, Carl Banks, Joe Morris, Leonard Marshall, Bill Ard, Bart Oates, Brad Benson, Chris Godfrey, Karl Nelson, Gary Reasons, Terry Kinard, and Bobby Johnson. Phil Simms, who was in London broadcasting the Patriots-Buccaneers game for CBS, taped a greeting that was shown on the stadium’s television screens. Taylor, Carson, Bavaro, and Martin participated in the pregame coin toss.
