Steve Smith Seeking Contract Extension: The Star-Ledger is reporting that WR Steve Smith, who caught a 48-yard touchdown in the Pro Bowl yesterday, is seeking a contract extension from the Giants.
Smith caught an NFC high 107 receptions in 2009 and is entering the final year of his rookie contract in 2010.
DE Michael Strahan Named to NFL’s All-Decade Team: Former Giants’ defensive end Michael Strahan has been named to the NFL’s 2000′s All-Decade team. Strahan is the only Giant to receive that honor for his play in the past decade.
The NFL All-Decade teams are chosen every 10 years by the Pro Football Hall of Fame Selection Committee members.
