Latest on the QB Coach Search: WIVB.com (Buffalo) is reporting that the Giants, along with the Steelers and Buccaneers, approached former Bills’ quarterback coach Alex Van Pelt about joining the staff as the team’s new quarterbacks coach. However, Van Pelt apparently has agreed to join the Buccaneers.
Meanwhile, The Star-Ledger is reporting that former Bears’ offensive coordinator Ron Turner is interested in the Giants’ quarterback coach vacancy.
Chris Palmer, who had served as the Giants’ quarterback coach since 2007, retired last week. He is expected to become the new head coach of the UFL’s New York Sentinels.
