November 18, 2010 New York Giants Injury Report: Not practicing yesterday were TE Kevin Boss (back),  WR Steve Smith (pectoral), OC Shaun O’Hara (foot), LT David Diehl (hamstring/hip), LT Shawn Andrews (back), and CB Corey Webster (toe).

Head Coach Tom Coughlin was asked if there was anything new regarding Andrews. “No, just that he is being treated,” replied Coughlin. “And hopefully he will be a little bit better today and hopefully a little bit better tomorrow…He has been stiff and sore before but never to the point where he didn’t feel like – he actually came out and tried to work yesterday. He felt he could work. As long as he was in a two-point stance, he felt he could.  But then the smarter move prevailed and we didn’t push it any. He was a little bit better this morning. And hopefully he will be a little bit better tomorrow.”

Boss was an addition to the injury report. He practiced on Wednesday, but not on Thursday. “He was sore last night,” said Coughlin. “And this morning they decided they had better hold him.”

Coughlin was also asked about Webster. “Corey did something to his toe,” said Coughlin.  “And they fitted him with a shoe and he just didn’t feel comfortable. Instead of pushing it and creating an issue – hopefully he will work tomorrow.”

DE Osi Umenyiora (knee) and FB Madison Hedgecock (hamstring) were limited in practice.
