New York Giants Free Agent Rumors – Burress Still a Possibility: According to The New York Post, the Giants have not completely ruled out re-signing unrestricted free agent WR Plaxico Burress. The paper says Head Coach Tom Coughlin is willing to sit down with Burress to discuss his future. “I think that’s certainly something we’re going to talk about and have talked about,” said Giants’ President and CEO John Mara. “Where that goes, I don’t know.”

According to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, unrestricted free agent linebacker Stephen Nichols (Atlanta Falcons) will sign with the Giants. However, The Star-Ledger is reporting that Nichols to New York is not a done deal and merely only a possibility.

Former Giants’ linebacker Kawika Mitchell (New Orleans Saints) said yesterday he would be interested in returning to the Giants.

On the unrestricted rookie free agent front, the Giants have supposedly agreed to terms with OL Jarriel King (South Carolina). There was a report last night that FB Henry Hynoski (Pittsburgh) agreed to terms with the Giants, but The Star-Ledger is reporting that he has not made up his mind yet. There was another report that DE Pierre Allen (Nebraska) agreed to terms with the Giants, but he apparently is signing with the Seahawks.
