Giants to Waive CB/S Janzen Jackson: According to press reports, the Giants will waive CB/S Janzen Jackson today.

Injury Report: Not practicing yesterday were WR David Douglas (quad), OC Jim Cordle (knee), DE Justin Trattou (ankle/heel), DT Shaun Rogers (leg), DT Martin Parker (chest), LB Michael Boley (hamstring), LB Jacquian Williams (hip), CB Terrell Thomas (knee), WR Hakeem Nicks (PUP – foot), TE Travis Beckum (PUP – knee), DT Chris Canty (PUP – knee), and LB Clint Sintim (PUP – knee).

When asked about Trattou, Head Coach Tom Coughlin responded, “No change there. It’s sad. It’s more the heel than it is the ankle, but he’s just having a tough time.”

OT James Brewer was carted off of the field with a back issue that has already caused him to miss a number of practices. “Yeah, he got tight in the back again,” said Coughlin. “I’m trying to keep him out there. When he’s out there, he actually looks pretty good. We’re having trouble keeping him out there.”

HB Da’Rel Scott (quad), OT Will Beatty (back), DT Rocky Bernard (knee), and LB Jake Muasau (hamstring) returned to practice. WR Domenik Hixon (hamstring) also practiced.

“(Beatty was) limited,” said Coughlin. “He was supposed to take about a third today and see how he is. Hopefully he can go tomorrow.”
