Injury Report – Brown, Bernard, and Phillips Out, Nicks May Play: Not practicing yesterday were HB Andre Brown (concussion), DT Rocky Bernard (quadriceps), CB Corey Webster (hand/hamstring), and S Kenny Phillips (knee). Brown, Bernard and Phillips have officially been ruled out of the game against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday. Webster is “questionable” for the game.

“(Webster) practiced (on Thursday),” said Head Coach Tom Coughlin. “This is more of a precaution than anything else.”

Coughlin was asked about Bernard. “Well, it’s a significant injury that just takes time,” responded Coughlin. “He’s trying, he’s working. But he’s not to a point where he can stop and start and all that business. It takes time.”

WR Hakeem Nicks (foot/knee) and OT David Diehl (knee) were limited in practice. Both are officially “questionable” for the game.

“(Nicks is) alright. He did okay (at practice),” said Coughlin. “We’ll have to see how he is (on Saturday).”

“I practiced,” said Nicks. “I did the majority of the practice – about four or five reps a period. About what I would normally do on a Friday practice. I did good. I had coach watching me, asking how I looked, was I compensating or anything like that. I wasn’t. So it looked good. I feel good about it. We’ll see how I respond in the morning and then they’ll let me know (about playing)…I’ve got a pretty good shot.”

WR Ramses Barden (concussion), TE Martellus Bennett (knee), LB Michael Boley (hip), LB Chase Blackburn (hip), LB Keith Rivers (hamstring), CB Jayron Hosley (hamstring), and S Antrel Rolle (knee) practiced fully. All seven players are “probable” for the game.
