David Wilson Named “NFC Special Teams Player of the Week”: HB David Wilson has been named the “NFC Special Teams Player of the Week” for his performance against the New Orleans Saints last Sunday. In the game, Wilson returned four kickoffs for 227 yards and a touchdown.
December 12, 2012 New York Giants Injury Report: HB Ahmad Bradshaw (knee/foot), WR Hakeem Nicks (knee), DE Jason Pierre-Paul (back), LB Michael Boley (back), CB Prince Amukamara (hamstring), S Kenny Phillips (knee), and S Tyler Sash (hamstring) did not practice yesterday.
“Bradshaw has a sprained knee,” said Head Coach Tom Coughlin. “He will not work today. I’m not going to speculate because of the toughness of this young man on how long it would be. He’s very positive about it. He definitely wants to get back as fast as he can.”
“Prince does have a hamstring and he won’t work today,” said Coughlin. “(His hamstring is) tricky.”
“Kenny Phillips is not ready to work today, either,” said Coughlin.
“We’re probably going to have to slow (Nicks) down a little bit, not do much, with him (in practice),” said Coughlin. “Maybe bring him in a little bit as we move along (this week).”
OC David Baas (shoulder) and TE Travis Beckum (knee) fully practiced.
