Eli to Play in the Pro Bowl: QB Eli Manning, who was voted second alternate to the Pro Bowl in December, will replace QB Aaron Rodgers in the game on January 27th. Rodgers dropped out of the game due to health issues. Manning was voted to the Pro Bowl in the 2007 and 2011 seasons.
Marc Ross Says He’s Not Interested in Jets’ Job: According to press reports, Giants’ Director of College Scouting Marc Ross has withdrawn his name from consideration for the Jets’ general manager vacancy. Ross interviewed with the Jets, Panthers, Chargers, and Jaguars this offseason. The other three positions have been filled.
