Free Agent Rumblings: Free agency begins on March 12. The following are some rumblings on the free agent front with respect to the Giants:
- 33-year old DE Dwight Freeney of the Indianapolis Colts, an unrestricted free agent, has expressed interest in playing for the Giants. “I grew up a Giants fan, actually,” said Freeney. “All my life. So that would be a dream.”
- The New York Post is reporting that unrestricted free agent WR Domenik Hixon would like to re-sign with the Giants and his agent will speak with the Giants this weekend at the NFL Combine.
- The agent for unrestricted free agent LB Keith Rivers told The Post, “There will be discussions with the Giants about Keith returning.”
