Justin Pugh Says New Offense Will Be Up Tempo: Offensive lineman Justin Pugh told Newsday on Friday that the new offensive system under new offensive coordinator Ben McAdoo will be up tempo.
The philosophy that (McAdoo) is installing in the offense is something that we did at Syracuse, the fast-paced, no-huddle, attack the defense I love it. It’s a lot different than the offense that we ran last year where you are huddling up and it’s run the ball, run the ball. Watching Green Bay, we’ll probably do some of the similar stuff that they did. So I’m excited to get out there and try it out against our defense.
Pugh also spoke to The Bergen Record.
Justin Pugh: "Quick, get to the line, get the play call, attack. That's the key word. We want to keep the defense on their toes." #NYG

More Reaction to Selection of WR Odell Beckham: Whether it is accurate information or spin is unknown, but the following is being reported about the selection of wide receiver Odell Beckham, Jr. in the 1st round of the 2014 NFL Draft:
According to a highly placed league source, the Giants had Beckham ranked ahead of Texas A&M wide receiver Mike Evans, who went five picks higher to Tampa Bay. And, get this: they had him just a notch below, and almost even with, Clemson wide receiver Sammy Watkins, who went No. 4 overall to Buffalo. (The Times of Trenton)
In case you are wondering: had Tennessee not chosen Taylor Lewan, he would NOT have been the pick for #NYG at 12. Still would've been OBJ.

Wouldn't shock me if Beckham ends up having the best career of all WRs in this draft. Great pick for #Giants.
