REPORT – FRANK CIGNETTI NEW QUARTERBACKS COACH…
Though not officially announced, according to multiple media reports, Frank Cignetti, Jr. is the new quarterbacks coach of the New York Giants. The 50-year old Cignetti has been with the St. Louis Rams for the last four years, first as quarterbacks coach (2012-2014) and then offensive coordinator (2015). Cignetti was fired by the Rams in December.

Mike Sullivan was the quarterback coach for the Giants in 2015, but there are unofficial reports that he will be the team’s new offensive coordinator.

REPORT – DWAYNE STUKES NEW ASSISTANT SPECIAL TEAMS COACH…
Though not officially announced, FOXSports is reporting that the New York Giants have hired Dwayne Stukes as the team’s new assistant special teams coach. Stukes replaces Larry Izzo, who was hired by the Houston Texans as their new special teams coordinator.

The 38-year old Stukes was the assistant special teams coach for the Chicago Bears in 2013-2014. He was also the Special Teams Coordinator for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2011 after serving as their assistant special teams coach in 2009-2010. He was out of football in 2012 and 2015.

REPORT – GIANTS INTERVIEW MIKE SINGLETARY FOR LINEBACKERS COACH…
ESPN is reporting that the New York Giants are interviewing Mike Singletary for the team’s vacant linebacker position on Thursday. The Giants did not retain Linebackers Coach Jim Herrmann, who had been with the team since 2009.

The 57-year old Singletary was a Hall of Fame linebacker for the Chicago Bears (1981-1992), twice NFL Defensive Player of the Year, eight-time first-team All-Pro, and a 10-time Pro Bowler. Singletary was head coach of the San Francisco 49ers in 2009-2010. He served as assistant head coach and linebackers coach of the Minnesota Vikings in 2011-2013. Singletary has not coached for the last two seasons.

REPORT – GIANTS INTERVIEW MIKE SOLARI FOR OFFENSIVE LINE COACH…
FOXSports is reporting that the New York Giants interviewed Mike Solari for the team’s vacant offensive line coach position on Wednesday. The 61-year old Solari was the assistant offensive line coach for the Green Bay Packers in 2015. He has also served as the offensive line coach for the Kansas City Chiefs (1997-2005), Seattle Seahawks (2008-2009), and San Francisco 49ers (2010-2014). Solari was the offensive coordinator for the Chiefs in 2006-2007.
