REPORT – GIANTS INTERVIEW DON JOHNSON FOR DEFENSIVE LINE COACH…
NJ.com is reporting that the New York Giants have interviewed Don Johnson for the team’s vacant defensive line coaching position. Johnson is the second known candidate to have interviewed for the position. The other is Paul Pasqualoni, who resigned from the Texans last week.

Johnson served as the defensive line coach of the San Diego Chargers for seven years (2009-2015). He was fired, along with five other assistant coaches, by the Chargers in early January. Johnson also served as the defensive line coach of the Chicago Bears in 2005-2006 and the defensive tackle coach of the Oakland Raiders in 2007-2008.

Robert Nunn had served as the Giants’ defensive line coach since 2010, but the team reportedly was not interested in retaining his services. Nunn was hired by the Cleveland Browns last week as their new defensive line coach.
