Justin Tuck Signs with Oakland Raiders: Unrestricted free agent defensive end Justin Tuck (New York Giants) has officially signed with the Oakland Raiders. The deal is reportedly a 2-year, $11 million contract. According to ESPN, Tuck gave the Giants a chance to improve their offer before he signed with the Raiders.

Details on Contract for Jon Beason: According to The NFL Network, Jon Beason’s deal was a 3-year, $19 million contract with $7 million in guaranteed money. $12 million of the contract will be paid within the first two years of the deal.

March 13, 2014 New York Giants Free Agent News and Rumors:

  • NJ.com is reporting that the Giants have expressed interest in unrestricted free agent (UFA) wide receiver/returner Ted Ginn Jr. (Carolina Panthers).
  • ESPN is reporting Nicks will meet with the Indianapolis Colts on Friday. The Charlotte Observer is reporting that the Carolina Panthers are interested in Nicks and  ProFootballTalk reports the San Diego Chargers are also interested in him.
  • UFA Tracy Porter (Oakland Raiders), who had visited the Giants on Wednesday, has signed with the Washington Redskins.
  • UFA Andrew Quarless (Green Bay Packers), who the Giants were rumored to be interested in, has re-signed with the Green Bay Packers.
