New York Giants Have Interest in Quarterbacks Tim Couch and Jay Fiedler: According to Adam Schefter of The NFL Network, the Giants have some interest in unrestricted free agent QB Tim Couch. Couch worked out for the Colts this past weekend. He has also worked out for the Dolphins, Titans, Texans, and Steelers this offseason. Couch has not played football since 2003 due to tears to his rotator cuff, labrum, and biceps.

Meanwhile, The New York Post confirms that the Giants remain interested in unrestricted free agent QB Jay Fiedler, who is also recovering from a torn labrum in his right shoulder (suffered last season with the Jets). Fiedler’s agent said his client probably will not be able to start throwing for teams until the second week of June. The Patriots are also believed to be interested in Fiedler. “When the time comes, we’ll work (Fiedler) out,” General Manager Ernie Accorsi told The Post. “We’re interested in him.”
