Eli Manning Practices, Questionable and a Game-Time Decision: Not practicing yesterday were TE Kevin Boss (ankle), DT Chris Canty (calf), LB Michael Boley (knee), LB Bryan Kehl (finger), and CB Aaron Ross (hamstring). Boss is officially listed as “doubtful” for the game against the Raiders on Sunday. Canty, Boley, Kehl, and Ross will not play.

An unidentified source told The Daily News that Canty is likely 1-2 weeks away from returning and that if this were later in the season, he might already be back. “The Giants are being careful with him,” said the source. “Their goal is to make sure he’s healthy for the second half.”

QB Eli Manning (foot), HB Ahmad Bradshaw (ankle/foot), and HB Danny Ware (elbow) practiced on a limited basis. Manning and Ware are officially listed as “questionable” for the game against the Raiders; Bradshaw is “probable.”

“(Eli) did fine,” said Coughlin. “Yeah, he did fine…He probably did half (of the snaps).”

“He looked good,” said QB David Carr. “His mechanics look good. It wasn’t like he was favoring it or anything. I think that was designed for him. I don’t think he wanted to come out yesterday or the day before and not look right. That would have been disheartening for everybody, including himself.”

When asked if Manning experienced and trouble of discomfort, Coughlin replied, “Not that I’m going to mention to you.”

Coughlin said he was encouraged by what he saw but it will remain a game-time decision on whether or not he plays against the Raiders on Sunday. “He will get some treatment when he goes inside,” said Coughlin. “He has got his own unit at home that he treats himself with and he will come in in the morning and we’ll see how he is (on Saturday).”

DE Justin Tuck (shoulder), LB Clint Sintim (groin), LG Rich Seubert (shoulder), and WR Domenik Hixon (knee) fully practiced. All four are “probable” for the game against the Raiders.
