Osi Umenyiora Comments Before OTA’s: The Giants’ Organized Team Activity (OTA) practices are set to start today. DE Osi Umenyiora made the following statement yesterday.

“OTA’s start (on Tuesday) and I’m ready to roll,” said Umenyiora. “I’ve been in New York the last two weeks working with the team. I’m not sure what all the fuss has been about with me. There has been a lot of talk about me, about me getting traded. I didn’t get traded, I’m with the team and have been with the team. I think people have been looking for me to do something to cause dissension, but that’s not happening.”

“I’m focused on working and I want to do all I can to help this team win games,” said Umenyiora. “Honestly, I think everyone on the team has been here working, I don’t think anyone has been missing. The atmosphere has been great and I think it’s needed. I’m looking forward to starting OTA’s. We’ve all been off for awhile so practice together as a team will be great.”

There are 12 OTA practices before the mandatory full-team mini-camp on June 15-17.
