New York Giants Practice Squad Moves: Yesterday, the Giants signed WR Samuel Giguere to the Practice Squad. Giguere spent time on the Practice Squad of the Indianapolis Colts in 2008 and 2009, before being waived in September 2010.

To make room for Giguere, the Giants terminated the contract of OL Dennis Landolt.

After falling to 17th in rushing last season, the Giants are currently 5th in the NFL in rushing yards per game (136.3).

DE Osi Umenyiora is second in the NFL with 8.0 sacks. He also leads the NFL with seven forced fumbles.

QB Eli Manning is 19-4 (.826) as a starter in October, the best mark among quarterbacks who began their career in the Super Bowl era (minimum 20 starts). Also, Manning joined Phil Simms as the only Giants quarterbacks to pass for 20,000 yards.
