Giants-Vikings Game Moved to Monday Night: Blizzard conditions in Minnesota disrupted the Giants’ travel plans yesterday, forcing the team to spend the night in Kansas City. While the team is scheduled to arrive in Minneapolis this morning, snow build-up on the Metrodome roof has also raised safety concerns. As a result, the NFL has moved the Giants-Vikings game to Monday night. The game is now scheduled to start at 8PM tomorrow. The game will be televised locally in the New York and Minnesota regions on FOX. As of this morning, it does not appear the game will be televised nationally or made available on by satellite television on DirecTV.

The Giants will now have one fewer day to prepare for the game of the season in the NFC East, next Sunday’s showdown with the Philadelphia Eagles.

Everyone But Andrews Travels: Fifty-two of the players on the 53-man roster traveled to the Midwest yesterday. The only player who did not fly with the team was tackle/guard Shawn Andrews (back) who was officially ruled out of the game on Friday. Making the trip were wide receivers Steve Smith (pectoral) and Hakeem Nicks (leg), as well as center Shaun O’Hara (foot). Smith and Nicks are officially “questionable” for the game while O’Hara is “doubtful.”
