January 19, 2012 New York Giants Injury Report – Eli Returns to Practice: HB Ahmad Bradshaw (foot) was the only Giant not to practice yesterday.

DE Justin Tuck (shoulder), DE Osi Umenyiora (ankle/knee), LB Mark Herzlich (ankle), and CB Corey Webster (hamstring) practiced on a limited basis.

QB Eli Manning (illness) fully practiced yesterday after leaving practice early on Wednesday.

“He looked good,” said Head Coach Tom Coughlin. “He came back and he actually texted us last night and said he felt better. When he got to work today he had a nice breakfast and seemed to do fine. I am sure he is not quite himself but almost.”

“Yeah, I’m 100 percent,” said Manning. “I had a full practice today, I did everything, took every rep. I feel good. Yesterday I at least got to be here and getting into all the meetings and go through the walk-through. I didn’t take any live reps, but I know the game plan, I know what’s going on. The arm felt good today, it felt fresh, and it was coming out good.”

Bavaro, Strahan, and Seubert Honorary Captains: Former Giants TE Mark Bavaro, DE Michael Strahan, and OG/OC Rich Seubert will serve as honorary captains of the team for the NFC Championship Game.
