Both Jake Ballard and Travis Beckum Tore ACLs: The Giants announced yesterday that TE Jake Ballard tore the ACL in his left knee during the Super Bowl. The team announced during the Super Bowl that TE Travis Beckum tore the ACL in his right knee.
Because the rehabilitation process is so lengthy for ACL surgery, it is likely that neither player will be available to the Giants for the 2012 season.
OT David Diehl also revealed yesterday that he played much of the season with a broken left hand.
OT Will Beatty (surgery for detached retina) says he expects to be 100 percent for the 2012 season.
