October 1, 2012 New York Giants Injury Report: S Kenny Phillips injured his medial collateral ligament (MCL) in the game against the Eagles and will be “week-to-week.”

OC David Baas suffered a hand injury that affected his shotgun snaps in the game. “Yeah, his hand was all swollen,” said Head Coach Tom Coughlin. “He rolled three (snaps) back…David has a big old swollen hand today and that contributed to it I’m sure.”

Coughlin was asked if WR Hakeem Nick’s knee injury was any better. “Not that I know of,” replied Coughlin. “It flared up on him when he started to run after having all that time off. It’s a swollen knee, what can I tell you?”

Tyler Sash’s Suspension Ends: S Tyler Sash’s 4-game suspension for violating the NFL’s policy on performance-enhancing drugs has ended. If he does not play against the Browns, the Giants have until next Monday at 4:00PM to make a roster move.
