October 5, 2012 New York Giants Injury Report – 5 Out, 2 Doubtful: Not practicing yesterday were WR Hakeem Nicks (foot/knee), WR Ramses Barden (concussion), DT Rocky Bernard (quadriceps), CB Jayron Hosley (hamstring), and S Kenny Phillips (knee). All five players have been officially ruled out for the game against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday.
“(Nicks is) getting there, I think,” said Head Coach Tom Coughlin. “He, mentally, feels better, that’s for sure…He feels like he’s getting there.”
Coughlin was asked if Phillips might be a candidate for the new short-term Injured Reserve list. “At this point, no,” replied Coughlin. “We do think he’ll be ready prior to that.”
OG Chris Snee (hip), OT David Diehl (knee), LB Michael Boley (hip), LB Keith Rivers (hamstring), CB Corey Webster (hand/hamstring), and S Antrel Rolle (knee) were limited in practice. Diehl and Rivers are “doubtful” for the game. Snee, Boley, Webster, and Rolle are “questionable.”
OC David Baas (hand) and CB Michael Coe (hamstring) fully practiced. Both are “probable” for the game.
