PK Josh Brown Awarded “NFC Special Teams Players of the Week”: PK Josh Brown has been awarded the “NFC Special Teams Player of the Week” aware for his performance against the Detroit Lions on Sunday. In that game, Brown kicked field goals of 41, 52, and 45 yards, the the final kick being the game-winner in overtime. Brown is the first kicker in Giants’ history with three field goals in a regular-season game of 40 yards or longer. This season, Brown has made 21 of 23 field goal attempts – including 17 in a row.
