OT Jai Lewis Quits Football: According to The Washington Post, undrafted rookie free agent OT Jai Lewis has decided not to return to the New York Giants for training camp. Lewis is the George Mason University basketball player who did not play football in college. The Giants signed him to a minimum contract with a $5,000 signing bonus after the 2006 NFL Draft. The Giants worked him out at offensive tackle and long snapper during the offseason workouts in May and June.

“He doesn’t seem to be wrestling with the decision, he doesn’t seem to have any second thoughts,” said Lewis’ agent. “He just said his heart wasn’t really in the game of football, and that he really wanted to play basketball.”
