WR Mario Manningham Signs: The Giants officially announced yesterday that they have signed WR Mario Manningham, their 3rd round pick in the 2008 NFL Draft. The contract is reportedly a 4-year deal.

“The wide receiver position for a rookie is probably one of the most difficult to learn, so we all felt it was important for him not to miss training camp,” said Manningham’s agent.

Of the Giants’ seven draft picks, only S Kenny Phillips (1st round) and CB Terrell Thomas (2nd round) remain unsigned.

Players are scheduled to report to training camp next week on July 24.
