New York Giants Add Seven to Practice Squad: The Giants officially signed the following players to the 8-man Practice Squad:
- QB Ryan Perrilloux
- HB Andre Brown
- TE Christian Hopkins
- DE Justin Trattou
- DT Dwayne Hendricks
- DE/LB Adrian Tracy
Each of these players was waived by the team on Saturday.
According to his agent, OC Jim Cordle was also signed to the Practice Squad. Cordle was waived by the Giants on Saturday.
New York Giants Do Not Put In a Waiver Claim: The Giants did not put in any waiver claims yesterday. Only players with less than four years of service can be waived and therefore claimed off of waivers. The Giants may be interested in signing veterans with four or more years of service who had their contracts terminated, cannot be claimed, and who are thus now free agents.
