November 10, 2011 New York Giants Injury Report: HB Ahmad Bradshaw (foot) and WR Jerrel Jernigan (hip) did not practice yesterday.

Though not officially announced yet, according ESPN and The Star-Ledger, Bradshaw will not play this weekend against the San Francisco 49ers.

“I thought (Jernigan) was going to be able to do something (on Wednesday) but he got out here and he couldn’t,” said Head Coach Tom Coughlin. “He has a couple issues.”

WR Hakeem Nicks (hamstring), OC David Baas (knee), OT Stacy Andrews (back), DE Osi Umenyiora (knee), and CB Prince Amukamara (foot) were limited in practice.

“(Nicks) did warm up well and he took a few plays,” said Coughlin. “He is definitely in the right direction.”

“Today I’m feeling a lot better,” Baas said. “We did a lot more than yesterday. Some good pounding on the knee – I think it’s responding well. I’m going to get some treatment and make sure I continue to keep it right. But I think we’re making good progress.”

“I am encouraged to have (Amukamara) out here,” said Coughlin. “It is just a question now of what extent can we involve him and the idea of playing him on Sunday. That still has not been clarified for me…He is going to fit in but I don’t know if he is to the point where he can go play 50 plays or 45 plays…You can manage it but you only have so many people in that position. Once you train a guy for a special situation defense all week long, it is difficult to have someone else ready to go.”

FB Henry Hynoski (neck) practiced fully.
