Eli Receives BBI Giant of the Year Trophy: QB Eli Manning received the “BBI Giant of the Year” trophy yesterday. The award is given to the Giants’ player, coach or member of the front office who most contributed to the team’s success on the field in a given year. The vote is held at the end of each season by members of the BBI community and the award is presented at a ceremony on the practice fields during training camp.

“(Williams’) hip is sore,” said Head Coach Tom Coughlin. “They sent him in and they X-rayed him. I don’t think there’s anything to it but they didn’t let him go today.”
“(Beatty’s) back was bothering him,” said Coughlin. “He was kind of slowing down a little bit. So I think they’re going to look at that.”
