Giants Sign Running Backs Ryan Torain and Kregg Lumpkin: The Giants signed running backs Ryan Torain and Kregg Lumpkin yesterday. Torain has spent time with the Broncos (2008-09) and Redskins (2010-11). Lumpkin has spent time with the Packers (2008-09), Buccaneers (2010-11), and Seahawks (2012).
To make room for one of the backs, OG Selvish Capers was waived. The other roster spot was created when HB Andre Brown was placed on short-term injured reserve on Monday.
RB Joe Martinek also had his Practice Squad contract terminated.
