John Mara to New York Giants Fans – “Be Patient”: Giants’ President/CEO John Mara had a message for Giants’ fans yesterday regarding the unsigned status of restricted free agent WR Victor Cruz. “It’ll get done at some point,” said Mara. “Just be patient.”
With restricted free agency over, Cruz only has three options: he can sign his 1-year, $2.879 million tender (which can be lowered by the Giants on June 17); sign the long-term deal the Giants are currently offering; or holdout.
