September 11, 2008 New York Giants Injury Report – Kiwanuka Limited in Practice: CB R.W. McQuarters (calf strain), CB Terrell Thomas (hamstring), and PK Lawrence Tynes (knee) did not practice yesterday.
DE Mathias Kiwanuka (ankle) practiced on a limited basis. “Good, he looked good,” said Coughlin of Kiwanuka in practice. “We will see how he does overnight and tomorrow. But he seemed to move well.”
“I thought I was going to come around before now,” Kiwanuka said. “But by the time Sunday comes around and the adrenaline starts pumping, I’ll be ready to go.”
When asked about Thomas, Coughlin responded, “He is (making progress). He is getting better.”
Practice Squad Moves: The Giants waived OG Kurt Quarterman from the Practice Squad yesterday. The team also signed DT Leger Douzable to the Practice Squad.
