New York Giants Sign Charles Brown: The New York Giants announced on Tuesday that they have officially signed unrestricted free agent offensive tackle Charles Brown (New Orleans Saints). The 26-year old Brown, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2010 NFL Draft, started 14 games for the Saints at left tackle in 2013 but was benched for the final four games (including two playoff games).
Brown is the fourth veteran offensive lineman signed by the Giants in free agency this offseason, the others being OG Geoff Schwartz (Kansas City Chiefs), OC J.D. Walton (Denver Broncos), and OG John Jerry (Miami Dolphins).
