August 25, 2014 New York Giants Injury Report: Not practicing on Monday were WR Odell Beckham, Jr. (hamstring), WR Marcus Harris (shoulder), WR Trindon Holliday (hamstring), TE Xavier Grimble (hamstring), OG Geoff Schwartz (toe), OG Brandon Mosley (back), OT James Brewer (back), OT Charles Brown (shoulder), DT Markus Kuhn (ankle), LB Jon Beason (PUP – foot), LB Justin Anderson (unknown), LB Spencer Adkins (unknown), CB Prince Amukamara (groin), and S Cooper Taylor (foot).

Head Coach Tom Coughlin was asked if Mosley’s back was a concern. “I hope not, but I don’t know anything,” responded Coughlin. “I know he was at the doctor today.”

When asked about Brewer, Coughlin replied, “I thought he would be back this week, but he’s at the doctor as well.”

When asked about Beckham, Coughlin said, “No, nothing on that. I am afraid to speculate because whenever you do that, it doesn’t seem like it works out. I just wait to be told…I think he is very frustrated. His whole personality is held in check because he is not able to do the things that he wants to do…He is not going to play on Thursday (against the Patriots). Have you seen him practice? How about practicing before you play.”

Asked for an update on Schwartz, Coughlin responded, “He is (down in North Carolina seeing Dr. Robert Anderson)…Just waiting to hear. I am hoping for the best.”
