REPORT – GIANTS PUT IN CLAIM FOR ZACK METTENBERGER…
The New York Post and New York Daily News report that the New York Giants put in a waiver claim for quarterback Zack Mettenberger, who was recently cut by the Tennessee Titans and claimed by the San Diego Chargers off of waivers.
The 24-year old Mettenberger was originally drafted in the 6th round of the 2014 NFL Draft by the Titans. In his two NFL seasons, Mettenberger has started 10 regular-season games, completing 60.3 percent of his passes for 2,347 yards, 12 touchdowns, and 14 interceptions.
The Giants currently have three quarterbacks on their roster: Eli Manning, Ryan Nassib, and B.J. Daniels.
