October 9, 2008 New York Giants Injury Report – Tyree Ready to Return to Practice: RT Kareem McKenzie (concussion) and LB Antonio Pierce (quadricep) did not practice yesterday. WR Domenik Hixon (concussion) and DE Jerome McDougle (knee) were limited.

“(McKenzie) won’t practice today,” said Coughlin before practice yesterday. “We will hold him. He is much better. He is improved, but we will just try to give him another day. The same with Pierce. They will be on the side.  They will do some things on the side and just continue to – and in AP’s case, it is just continuing to rehab and to work and see to what extent he has any issues with that.  But Kareem it is to just to make sure. Hixon will practice. He will be limited; no contact, but he will practice.”

WR David Tyree, who is currently on the Reserve/Physically-Unable-to-Perform (PUP) List, says he is healthy and ready to return to practice next week.  After Week Six, he is eligible to return to practice and once he does so, within three weeks, the team must activate him, place him on Injured Reserve, or waive him.

WR Taye Biddle Added to the Practice Squad Again?: Though there has been no official announcement, WR Taye Biddle is once again appearing on the roster page at Giants.com. Biddle was waived earlier this week when the Giants lifted the suspension on WR Plaxico Burress.
