October 10, 2008 New York Giants Injury Report: LB Antonio Pierce (quadricep) did not practice again yesterday and is officially listed as “questionable” for the game against the Cleveland Browns on Monday night. “We expect Pierce will work (on Saturday),” said Head Coach Tom Coughlin.

When asked if he was worried about the injury, Pierce responded, “No, not at all. I will be there Monday night, 8:30, you will see me…I will never miss a game unless I am on IR, so I’ll be there.”

RT Kareem McKenzie (concussion) returned to practice on a limited basis. McKenzie is listed as “probable” for the game on Monday. When Coughlin was asked if McKenzie would be more susceptible to another concussion, he responded, “I think there is always danger, but he has responded very well. He has passed all of his tests; his neuropsych test he has done well with. He feels a lot better. It will be interesting to see how he feels coming off the practice field and done the majority of the work and then (Saturday). But we expect that he is going to do well.”

WR Domenik Hixon (concussion) and DE Jerome McDougle (knee) were limited again. “We are calling Hixon limited but he takes his reps,” said Coughlin. “And McDougle has actually been doing pretty good.” Both Hixon and McDougle are listed as “probable” for the game.
