September 9, 2013 New York Giants Injury Report: CB Prince Amukamara (concussion) and LB Dan Connor (burner) were injured in the game against the Cowboys on Sunday night.

“I know (Amukamara is) feeling better,” said Head Coach Tom Coughlin on Monday. “He felt pretty good last night, to be honest with you. He didn’t seem to have any repercussions, but he does need to go through the protocol.”

New York Giants Waive DE Adewale Ojomo: The Giants waived DE Adewale Ojomo on Monday.

Giants Working Out More Veteran Running Backs: As is their usual practice, the Giants will be conducting free agent workouts on Tuesday. According to press reports, three of the players are running backs Brandon Jacobs (ex-49ers), Willis McGahee (ex-Broncos), and Joe McKnight (ex-Jets).

Notes: The Giants have lost three season-openers in a row, the first time that has occurred since 1981-83.

The Giants fell to 0-6 in season-opening games vs. the Cowboys.

The Giants are 16-22-1 on Sunday night, including 9-12-1 on the road. They are 7-12 vs. Dallas in prime time.

The Giants finished with 428 net passing yards against the Cowboys, the fourth-highest total in franchise history.  Eli Manning’s 450 passing yards was was the second-highest of his career. He threw for 510 yards vs. Tampa Bay last September.

Wide receivers Victor Cruz, Hakeem Nicks, and Rueben Randle each had five catches and each had more than 100 receiving yards. It is the first time in Giants’ history they had three receivers with more than 100 yards in a game.
