New York Giants Change Offensive Quality Control Coaches: According to The Star-Ledger, the Giants have replaced Offensive Quality Control Coach John DeFilippo with Sean Ryan. Ryan was the running backs coach at Harvard University last year.
DeFilippo is no longer part of the Giants’ organization. It is not clear if he has been fired. DeFilippo’s father is the athletics director at Boston College, where Head Coach Tom Coughlin coached from 1991 to 1993. Ryan and DeFilippo were on the same staff together at Columbia University in 2003 and 2004. Ryan also was a graduate assistant at Boston College (2001-2002).
