New York Giants Draft Hakeem Nicks, Clint Sintim, and William Beatty on Day One: The Giants did not make any trades on the first day of the NFL Draft and selected the following players:
- 1st Round: WR Hakeem Nicks, North Carolina
- 2nd Round: LB Clint Sintim, Virginia
- 2nd Round: LT William Beatty, Connecticut
