RB Charles Scott Injured in Car Accident: It was learned yesterday that HB Charles Scott was injured in a car accident in Louisiana earlier in the week. Scott spent the 2010 season on the Giants’ practice squad after the Arizona Cardinals cut him in September. Scott was originally a 6th round pick of the Philadelphia Eagles before being traded to the Cardinals.

“He’s doing well,” said Scott’s agent. “He’s definitely got some cuts and bruises. He’ll be okay, put it that way. He’s going to be fine.”

But CB Michael Coe tweeted earlier that Scott was in a “terrible” accident and that he was in the intensive care unit (ICU). Scott’s agent said his client was no longer in the ICU.

“The injuries are not life-threatening nor are they career-threatening,” said the agent. “He’s a very resilient kid. He will bounce back quick. Any time there is a bad car accident, you thank God he’s alive. He is doing well and getting better by the hour.”
