January 13, 2012 New York Giants Injury Report: Aside from the 13 players on Injured Reserve, LB Mark Herzlich (ankle) was the only Giant not to practice yesterday. Herzlich has officially been ruled out of Sunday’s game against the Green Bay Packers.

“Last week when I tried to do some running, it didn’t really work out too well,” Herzlich said. “This week felt really good, pain-free.”

DE Osi Umenyiora (ankle/knee), CB Corey Webster (hamstring), and S Deon Grant (quad) practiced on a limited basis. All three players are “probable” for the game.

HB Ahmad Bradshaw (foot/back), HB D.J. Ware (concussion), HB Da’Rel Scott (knee), and CB Aaron Ross (concussion) practiced fully. All four players are “probable” for the game.

Notes: There are 15 players on the Giants’ current roster who played in the NFC Championship Game in Green Bay four years ago:

QB Eli Manning, HB Brandon Jacobs, OG Chris Snee, OT David Diehl, and OT Kareem McKenzie started on offense. Current starters HB Ahmad Bradshaw Bradshaw and OG Kevin Boothe were reserves.

DE Osi Umenyiora and CB Corey Webster are the only defensive starters remaining. DE Justin Tuck, DE Dave Tollefson, LB Chase Blackburn, and CB Aaron Ross were reserves.

PK Lawrence Tynes and LS  Zak DeOssie also played in the game.
