New York Giants Sign Selvish Capers to 53-Man Roster: The Giants have signed OT/OG Selvish Capers from the Practice Squad to the 53-man roster. Room for Capers was created when the Giants placed DT Markus Kuhn on Injured Reserve last week.

To fill Capers’ spot on the Practice Squad, the Giants signed OG Stephen Goodin, who was with the Giants in training camp as an undrafted rookie free agent.

Meanwhile, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have reportedly signed WR David Douglas off of the Giants’ Practice Squad.

Injury Update: HB Ahmad Bradshaw (foot), WR Domenik Hixon (ankle), and DT Linval Joseph (knee) did not practice yesterday.

Joseph’s knee apparently swelled yesterday. “He’s been kind of back and forth with it for a while,” said Head Coach Tom Coughlin.

“Today it was just more swollen than other days and I felt like I couldn’t go on it, so I didn’t,” Joseph said. “Tomorrow is another day and I better do something tomorrow.”

LB Keith Rivers (calf/knee), LB Jacquian Williams (knee), and S Kenny Phillips (knee) were limited in practice.

“I feel a whole lot better than I did two weeks ago, a week ago,” Phillips said. “I still don’t feel 100 percent, but I think I’m good enough to play at this point.”

OC David Baas (ankle/elbow), OG Chris Snee (ankle), and S Tyler Sash (ankle) practiced fully.
